Galpin Motors opened its doors in 1946 in the city of San Fernando as a 3 car showroom selling a few dozen vehicles that year. A lot has changed since then and because of your loyalty, Galpin has grown into one of the largest and most honored dealership groups in the world. What hasn’t changed is that we are still family owned and operated and committed to serving our community! We sincerely believe that the only reason we have to be in business is to serve our customers.
Our Beginning
Galpin started as a 3 car showroom in San Fernando selling 53 Ford’s in its first year. Over the last 75 years,
under the leadership of Bert, Jane and Beau Boeckmann, Galpin has grown into one of the most honored and
successful dealership groups in the world.

Galpin has been credited with many industry firsts over the last 75 years. Both Bert and Beau Boeckmann are innovative, and that has been a key in Galpin’s growth and popularity throughout the years.

Customizing, or as we call it Galpinizing, can be traced as far back as 1952, with the first-ever dealership customized vehicle. At Galpin, you can purchase or create the custom vehicle of your dreams.
